Lighting is everything in a home, it is the accessory that defines the style. Our lighting strategy for the Hacienda Project was a classic and contemporary design.

While we replaced every interior and exterior lighting fixture in the Hacienda Project, we kept three extra large scroll chandeliers. In order to maintain our fresh and timeless look a makeover was necessary for the chandeliers. This photo captures one of the original chandeliers with an oil-rubbed finish.


Painting the chandeliers was our first step in the Hacienda renovation. My contractor, Gilbert Gomez, used Scaffolding to spray paint the chandeliers gold.
To enhance the classic and contemporary style, we removed the previous light bulbs.


I love the look of Daylight LED ecosmart round light bulbs. I prefer the Daylight hue because it radiates a blue + white light.
Seeing it in a different light. The original soft white light bulbs illuminate a yellowish hue compared to the newly installed daylight bulbs. Can you see the color difference?
Replacing the yellow chandelier candle covers with white enhanced the chandelier creating a classic and contemporary chandelier.
