Sugar, Spice, & Everything Nice: A Holiday Event Featuring the Fragrances & Flavors of the Season

Lory Parson - @tohavetohost and I were thrilled to co-host an exclusive Jo Malone party for our guests to kick off the season with sugar, spice, and everything nice. The scented soiree included a Master Mixologist who prepared the perfect holiday cocktail inspired by festive scents
from the Jo Malone collection. Followed by introduction to the winter Jo Malone collection which featured beautiful fragrances honoring this special time of the year.

Event Details

WELCOME:
Guests were welcomed by the signature Jo Malone scent, English Pear & Freesia, glasses of bubbly and lite bites.

A TOAST TO THE SEASON:
We began our evening by learning how to prepare the perfect holiday cocktail, a Ginger Whiskey Sour by the Master Mixologist. Each cocktail was customized by the guest by selecting delicious decorative garnishes from citrus salt, sweet sugar, fresh citrus, and edible flowers.

INTRODUCING THE JO MALONE FRAGRANCES & GIFTS OF THE SEASON
The Jo Malone Scottsdale Fashion Square team treated us to a private tour of the seasonal fragrances and special edition holiday favorites. The curated pieces included delicious gift inspirations from the Gingerbread Land-inspired festive collection. Guests were able to check off their holiday gift list with stocking fillers to show-stopping surprises.

I am thrilled to share some of my simple tips to entertain with style and ease in honor of the new year. I love to choose a theme; my favorite is to host a Cake and champagne celebration with a wink to pink.

Your guests will be tickled PINK while enjoying a delicious cake with champagne. I styled my table decor with pink paired with pastel hues creating a joyful setting to celebrate New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day.

Holiday Soirées || It’s the most wonderful time of the year, especially when you love to celebrate.

The Arizona Opera hosted a magical Fête in the Forest, @azopera. The event Co-Chairs @andreatevans and @lbell4 created a special experience for the guests including performances by professional opera singers @rafaelmorastenor and Kathy Kozak.

The annual holiday party for The Phoenix Women’s Board of the Steele Children’s Research Center - @pandagives was filled with merriment, good cheer, and dear friends. Guests were welcomed by carolers who sang traditional holiday songs.

To enhance this garden themed table setting I used a chinoiserie tabletop collection by Altoona to style the table with placemats, plate accents, and placecards. The whimsical bird pattern inspired me to use a vintage birdcage as my centerpiece filled with fresh flowers, lemons, and pomegranates.

To create a Thanksgiving fall table setting with my signature blue hues and seasonal details I collaborated with my friend @rosannebeckcollections to create a tablescape with the new Roseanne Beck Autumn Collection. I love the playful pumpkin paper placemats paired with my bamboo plate and utensils. The stunning blue and white paper table runner allowed the accents shine.
