I am passionate about home fragrances, especially scented candles. On any given day you will find a scented candle in my home. The aroma of white flowers, citrus, and fresh greens makes me happy. I have noticed that my husband enjoys it as well.
I am loyal to my brands and candles are no exception. My traditional favorite offers a combination of citrus, white flowers, and fresh greens. During a visit to West Elm, I fell in love with a new candle. The navy and white vessel caught my attention, Marbled Homescent Collection – Black/White • west elm • $29–34 . I was thrilled to discover the candle offered a citrus and eucalyptus fragrance. I knew immediately that I would use the candle first and later the ceramic vessel for flowers.

Once the candle can no longer hold a flame it is time to begin the preparations. Place the ceramic vessel in theOnce the candle can no longer hold a flame it is time to begin the preparations. Place the ceramic vessel in the freezer for 24 hours. Once completely frozen, use a kitchen knife to loosen and remove the frozen candle wax. After the frozen candle wax if successfully removed, clean the vessel with warm water and soap. Now you have a fabulous vase for your favorite flowers or succulent.
