Creating the perfect pantry for the most talented hostess and entertaining blogger I know, Lory from To Have + To Host , was an absolutely treat. Have you ever wondered how talented hosts store and organize their collections of entertaining – wares and accessories? During this collaboration Lory and I organize her main pantry creating a stylish and functional space. Creating the perfectly organized pantry for a lifestyle influencer and entertaining blogger was a passion project. I loved collaborating with my friend, Lory and learning about her beautiful collection of entertaining essentials.
To be a talented hostess with amazing style, you need to possess strong organizational skills. That being said, Lory is very organized. Her goal was to maximum the space in her main pantry to accommodate cleaning supplies, home essentials, bulk groceries, storage containers, entertaining products, and accessories. The large pantry had great potential to accomplish her goal while creating a stylish and functional space.
This is how we accomplished the perfect pantry for the hostess with the mostest. One of my tips before organizing is to consider what area of your pantry is the prime visual real estate. Prime visual real estate is the area that is going to be seen first when entering the room. Once you identify that location, create stylish storage solutions.
In Lory’s pantry we designed a creative method to display her collection of table setting products from Hester & Cook inprime visual real estate. By using large baskets we consolidated paper products and home essentials.
Goals
- Make better use of Lory’s space to provide a stylish and functional pantry for entertaining pieces and home essentials.
- Assign zones by entertaining categories. Combining paper party supplies to one area.
- Maintain a functional area for cleaning products, snacks, and home essentials.
- Provide easy access to entertaining supplies.
- Create cleaver solutions to store and display entertaining accessories.
Home essentials and cleaning products were assigned a zone in the pantry.
The entrance of the pantry is adjacent to the laundry room which is chic and organized.
I had the opportunity to share Lory’s pantry on The List TV segment, 3 Tips to Organize Your Pantry Like a Professional.
